The interpreting style depends on what you need: At business meetings and negotiations, at shows on stage or at lunches and dinners I offer consecutive interpreting, which means that I speak in the other language after you, or your partner, speak. If you have just one or two guests at a seminar, at a tour of your premises or at a training course which is run in English - or if you are the only English participant at a similar event run by Czechs, Poles or Slovaks, whispered interpreting is the recommended method. It means that without losing any time or interfering with the proceedings, I will whisper into your ear, or your guest's ear, what is being said in the other language. For conferences, presentations and seminars with a larger number of visitors, I and a colleague can provide simultaneous interpreting (see photo), which means that you have earphones and listen to us interpreting the speaker's words at the same time as s/he speaks into the microphone. This method needs two experienced interpreters who have been specially trained. For preliminary contacts, videoconferencing, to agree meetings etc., telephone interpreting is the most practical. It can be done through a conference call which can be easily set up. I can also translate the minutes after a meeting or conference, and if you are going to visit the Czech Republic or Poland, I can translate your business literature so you can communicate properly.
